A downloadable game for Windows

You are a cat. A calico cat. A calico cat who just got the zoomies. You can't help it - that's just the way things are with cats. Now, as you tear through the hallways, you have to watch out not to break your owner's many precious plants. After all, you wouldn't want them to scold you, would you?

Description:

Fluffy Catastrophe is a "dino-run" type game in which the player takes on the role of a cat trying to avoid obstacles approaching at ever-increasing speeds. It was created as a master's thesis in computer science. Its goal is to conduct research on the topic of performance and playability, as well as the differences in game implementations, written in several of the most popular programming languages (Python, C++, Java and JavaScript) and their dedicated libraries.

If you have played each version of the game and would like to contribute to the research, please feel free to take part in the survey at the link below (approximately 2 minutes):
-- Playability rating survey --

If you are a fellow programmer with any amount of experience, please also consider completing the survey on code readability (approximately 20 minutes):

Since this game was created as part of a scientific research project, it's completely free to download. However, if you enjoy it and would like to support my work, you can do so through my Buy Me a Coffee page:
